Join The Briogáid As We Kickoff FC Cincinnati’s Final Season At Nippert!
After opening the season with two matches on the road, FC Cincinnati returns to the Queen City for their final home opener at Nippert this Saturday, March 14 to take on DC United. After two weeks of awesome watch parties at The Hi-Mark and Municipal Brew Works, it’s time to get into home form as we prepare for Saturday! Here is a list and description of all the events planned for the week leading up to Saturday afternoon’s game:
TIFO Night: Wednesday (3/11), 6:30pm at School of Ginga, 6630 Hamilton Ave.
All supporters groups are getting together to paint our first tifo of the season. No artistic skills necessary, supplies will be provided. Bring the kids!
All SG Home Opener Eve Gathering: Friday (3/13), 7:00pm at Taft’s Brewporium.
Join us and the other supporters groups on Home Opener Eve to toast the start of a new season.
Saint Patrick’s Day Parade: Saturday (3/14), 12:00pm.
The Briogáid will be marching again in this year’s SPD Parade in downtown Cincinnati! All Briogáid members are welcome to march in the parade, however please RSVP if you are planning to do so with Tina Harris at: TinaHarrisFCC@gmail.com. If you are marching you will need to arrive at the staging area before 11:30. More information will be provided to those who RSVP to march. If you plan on watching the parade only, obviously no RSVP is necessary.
Pre-Match at Hangover Easy (HOE): Saturday (3/14), 2:00pm.
This will be the last year we will be calling HOE home for our prematch festivities. Membership scarves will be available for pick-up, and new members can join on the spot. Additionally, limited amount of Irish Heritage Scarves will be available for purchase (those who have placed an order for Irish Heratige Scarves will be able to pick them up as well). Drink specials will be on tap for us. This season we will be joined at HOE by our friends Los Caballeros for our prematch parties! As always everyone is welcome, and we are family friendly. We will join the march to Nippert at approximately 4:30 (give or take a few minutes).
